I am not here to “fix” you.

“Fix” implies something temporary. A Band-Aid on a broken ankle.

And you aren’t broken, sweet pea.

You’re here to heal, but in this instance, heal  ≠  fix. It means TRANSFORM.

And the path to transformation is totally unique to you. ACIM says we each have a highly individualized curriculum (M-29.2).

So what works for me, may not work for you.

That’s why an outer teacher can never replace your Inner Teacher (Spirit). That’s why you can’t compare your journey to mine. That’s why I can’t capture this journey we’re on in “5 easy steps.”

The only thing we can all do is be present to where we are at. Truly being where you are right now is way more healing than trying to be where some teacher or expert or blogger says you should be.

Trying to be where the teacher says you should be will “fix” you.
Being where you are will heal you.

It is in the present moment that we can invite Spirit to the party and soak up the lessons, love, and light that are here right now.

In the novel The Knife of Never Letting Go*, the main characters stumble upon a field of creatures that all sing “Here.” Befuddled at first, the characters begin to feel a deep level of peace and cry at the song’s beauty.

“It’s like the song of a family where everything’s always all right, it’s a song of belonging that makes you belong just by hearing it, it’s a song that’ll always take care of you and never leave you. If you have a heart, it breaks, if you have a heart that’s broken, it fixes.”

Enter into this song with me. Let’s drop comparisons, and feel what’s going on deeply. Let’s take Spirit’s hand, and enter the present moment, where we can transform.
Let’s be
